Journey to Bethlehem: Jesus
READ LUKE 2:22-38
Jesus came a greater distance than anyone to Bethlehem. He gave up far more than anyone, leaving Heaven to be born in a stable and die like a common thief. But Jesus also gave more than anyone has or will ever give at Christmas time. He died, so we could live forever with Him. Jesus was God’s gift to the world. He was a greater gift than any of us will find under our tree. God loved the world so much, He gave up His only Son to save it. That gift is ours for the taking. We only need to accept it.
