Life of Joseph: Forgiveness
We wrapped up our study through the life of Joseph this week. The story of Joseph began with a coat of many colors. It ended with a silver cup. In between those years, God prepared Joseph to save his family from a terrible famine through what can only be described as a series of unfortunate events. Joseph’s brothers finally ended up on their knees, just as Joseph dreamed they would.
Read Genesis 44-45
God wants us to live at peace with everyone. He wants us to forgive others. He wants us to make amends when we wrong others. With God’s help, we can make peace with anyone who has wronged us. It's not always easy, but we can seek God's guidance and ask Him to soften our hearts as well as others'.
Memory Verse
The Lord is a place of safety for those who have been treated badly. He keeps them safe in times of trouble. Psalm 9:9
