Joseph is Jailed

We continued our study through the Life of Joseph this week! Take a look at what we focused on:

PRESCHOOL –  Genesis 41:1-43
KINDERGARTEN-5TH GRADE –  Genesis 39

It can be hard to trust in God when life changes unexpectedly, but we can rest in God through it all. Joseph is a great example to all of us. Even in an Egyptian prison, he kept his faith and maintained his good character. His captors quickly realized Joseph was no liar. He was so trustworthy that they put him in charge of the other prisoners. Even in the worst of circumstances we can keep our good character just like Joseph. If we rely on God instead of the world to tell us who we are, we will keep our good character even in the worst of times. God can change our hearts. He can make us more like Jesus. Not only will we find peace in our circumstances, we will show others the difference God can make in their lives.

Memory Verse
The Lord is a place of safety for those who have been treated badly. He keeps them safe in times of trouble. Psalm 9:9
